Manish Dabhade is currently an Assistant Professor in Diplomacy. His research interests include international security issues with a special focus on great power security strategies in the post-Cold War era and nuclear security in Southern Asia. He teaches M.Phil. courses on International Negotiation: Theory and Practice and Contemporary Issues in International Security and an M.A. course on Superpower Diplomacy.
He has done his M.A. in International Relations and M.Phil. in Diplomatic Studies from the School of International Studies at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has completed his doctoral dissertation on India's nuclear diplomacy after Pokhran II (1998-2005), a theoretical analysis of India's engagement with the great powers, principally the US, and its regional rivals, China and Pakistan in the nuclear realm after it conducted nuclear tests in May 1998. He is also the President of the India Futures- a think that aims at establishing quality conversation between stakeholders in International relations.
